Shelby Jane

My cousin Karen and her family moved to Texas a few years ago, but come to visit often.  They just came in town this last weekend, to celebrate Shelby's 5th birthday with family, since everyone still lives back here.  The funny story here is that Karen and I were pregnant with our girls at the same time.  Both due in July.  And it just so happened, that the two girls decided that they would make their grand entrance into the world, on the same day!  What are the odds right?!  And same hospital, no joke! 

Happy Birthday to Shelby Jane, I can't even believe that it has been 5 years since we were in the hospital holding our brand new baby girls.

Summer Sunflowers

I've been driving past this beautiful field of sunflowers on my way to work every morning and decided I had to take Liv's pictures here!  Just looking at the sea of yellow makes me have happy summer thoughts.  So I convinced Zach to go with me, because to be honest, I'd freak if I saw a snake...and we tromped through the field until we found a good spot. 

Thank goodness for teamwork, and tall boots!
