Dave, Chas and their gang!

It's always so good to see old friends...  sometimes you don't even know how much you miss them, until you reconnect.

These two are those kind of friends.

We have always had so much fun together, and still did, even just walking around taking pictures.  I loved seeing them and their beautiful children...however, when you go so long without seeing your friends kids, and then you finally see them and they've grown up on you, it makes you feel really old.  Really, really old. 

So good to catch up with you guys, hopefully we can do it again before you kids are in their 20's ;)

Levin Family

So glad I got the chance to meet this sweet family last weekend.

 

We had so much fun walking around the park and relishing in the (uncharacteristically) great weather we were having!  And I think Simone enjoyed getting out and playing in the leaves.  The fascination behind her eyes just about melted me!

 

Well, lets be honest...everything she did just about melted me.  I mean, does it get any cuter than this?..

So happy to meet up with these 3 last weekend and take their family pictures!  That little Payton is just too cute for words!

We were lucky and had pretty decent weather, so luckily no one froze!  You never know what you are going to get in the end of November!

 

Today, I'm thankful for friends..

Sometimes I forget how lucky I am.  I think we all do.  And that is why we have good friends around, to remind us and to keep us grounded. 

There is no question how much I love Nicki and her perfect little family.  I love being a part of their lives, and having them as a part of mine.  And I believe there is something to be said for keeping friends your whole life.  They will always know you, the real you...and sometimes remind you of who you need to be. 

So today, I am very thankful.  Thankful that I have so many friends to call my family.  Thankful that I get to be a part of their lives and of their families as well.  I am truly blessed.
