Last weekend was Easter and it was the most perfect weather! We got to enjoy lots of outside time, some kite flying, egg hunting, and just basking in the beautiful day. Olivia is at such a good age right now, her eagerness for the holidays is exciting, it's a good reminder of how easy it really is to be happy. Love her.

Kale turns 2!
Can't believe Mr. Kale is already turning 2! This little one was a Rockstar the whole 2 hours that I took his pictures (yes I said 2 hours). He didn't fuss, no fits or tantrums, he just wanted to explore. And so, that is exactly what he did. He loved running through the grass free as a bird, picking up the occasional rock or stick and testing them out in his mouth. I'm not going to lie, I did really pull out the big guns a time or two and used fruit snacks as a bribery method, but all in all, I cannot take credit for how well he did. Such a sweet boy.

Cousin Love
Olivia and her cousin Payton are only 3 weeks apart, which is awesome because she's basically guaranteed a lifelong best friend! The girls just have so much fun playing together, such imaginations these two have...and Oh, the diva-ness that comes out when they are together! Then we have Kale, sweet, adorable, busy, Kale! Having a girl first serving as your guinea pig in this whole child raising thing, really doesn't prepare you fairly. The girls at the age of one, were fairly easy to entertain, give them a puzzle or a book and you got a good 10 minutes of still. However, Kale has taught us all that he just isn't going to settle for that...oh no, he has the world at his fingertips, and by gosh, he is going to EXPLORE! And that he does! So when we decided to try and get them together for Christmas pics our experience was interesting, but so much fun. These kids, they are a gift! Love the cousin love they have!

Liv and memories
I took Liv up to my grammy's one day this past fall just for fun to do some pics. This home holds so many memories for me, it's where I spent most of my childhood. Just walking around her property brought back so many good feelings of being a child and really made me miss my grampy. I'm so very blessed to be able to live so close and have Olivia experience these same things with her great grandma. I hope she carries these great memories with her as she grows, as I have.
